Psychokinesis

The term psychokinesis (from the Greek ψυχή, "psyche", meaning mind, soul, heart, or breath; and κίνησις,"kinesis", meaning motion, movement; literally "mind-movement"), also referred to as telekinesis with respect to strictly describing movement of matter, sometimes abbreviated PK and TK respectively, is a term coined by publisher Henry Holt to refer to the direct influence of mind on a physical system that cannot be entirely accounted for by the mediation of any known physical energy.Examples of psychokinesis could include distorting or moving an object, and influencing the output of a random number generator. The study of phenomena said to be psychokinetic is part of parapsychology. Some psychokinesis researchers claim psychokinesis exists and deserves further study, although the focus of research has shifted away from large-scale phenomena to attempts to influence dice and then to random number generators. Most scientists believe that the existence of psychokinesis has not been convincingly demonstrated. A meta-analysis of 380 studies in 2006 found a "very small" effect which could possibly be explained by publication bias. PK experiments have historically been criticised for lack of proper controls and repeatability. However, some experiments have created illusions of PK where none exists, and these illusions depend to an extenton the subject's prior belief in PK.You will learn that the ability of telekinesis is very natural occurrence and we all have the ability to perform telekinesis it's just a matter of learning the ability. It is primarily a Mind/Brain/Consciousness related phenomenon though certainly its roots are sub-atomic like all manifestations. Some research shows there is a lot of activity in the cortex of the brain in relationship to this. Most of what we term psychic phenomenon or mystical happenings happen in the "off" phases of consciousness. Consciousness is always in the on/off phasing, blinking off and on, as it were. Off/On phasing phenomenon is photon related manifestation of energy and light

Whats inside  a short experiment done recently??
Here's an example of data collected in a ganzfeld telepathy test session. This was conducted in our lab on September 10, 2010. My friend Gail was the receiver in this test; her friend Tom was the sender. This is Gail being prepped for exposure to the ganzfeld condition.

While Gail was going through a relaxation exercise, I led Tom to a distant location a floor above the lab and on the other side of the building. Once there, I gave him four opaque black envelopes, each of which had been prepared with a color photo inside, and then the four envelopes were thoroughly shuffled. Of course, neither Tom or Gail had any idea what those images might be. I gave Tom a die and asked him to toss it to get a random number 1 through 4. He did, and the photo inside that envelope became his target.
Tom then examined the photo and attempted to send it to Gail. Here is what Gail said during the 20 minute sending period, while under the Ganzfeld stimulation and listening to white noise played over headphones. Each sentence below is a continuous statement.
The breaks between sentences indicate long pauses:

Keep feeling like looking up at tall, I'm looking up at something tall.

Something about texture. Texture.

I feel like something has a rough texture.

Tall, very tall impression, looking up high.

Feel as if I'm walking around observing something, like when you would walk in an art gallery or in a museum and you would look at something.

Wow.

First I'm feeling like tall trees, and then I'm feeling like tall building.

And then I'm like a Yosemite kind of image of a tall rock or a tall, some kind of a very tall solid stone something.

Seeing browns and grays
Something like a feeling of walking around, looking up and being in awe, in awe of something.

Monolithic or I don't know what the word is.

I'm getting images of Mount Rushmore, I know you're not supposed to say things [Gail was asked to avoid naming her impressions, as naming is known to often pull impressions into word-association fantasies].

Half-dome, like just a big stone.

I sort of feel like I'm walking around in a picture, and I'm giving my hand and we're climbing up ...

or something about going up, there's ....
It seems like there's also some kind of a round tall cylinder, and, something long and gray on the right.

Water fountain.

Stone.

At first I felt very much like I was in a nature, forest type of setting, ... and now I'm feeling more

something about a, like

a plaza

These are the four images in the target pool. Can you guess which one was the target?

Cosmics...

To explain the universe, science first assumed the existence of an unseen phenomenon called dark matter.  Finding the explanation insufficient, it posited a second unseen phenomenon called dark energy.  Still unsatisfied, it hypothesized a third unseen phenomenon called dark flow. Relying on these three mysteries, science is now satisfied with its explanation. Here is a thought. We have known, since Einstein, that matter and energy are really the same thing in two different forms.  Might it now be proved that flow, as in dark flow, is a third form of the same thing?  And might science thus be discovering that the binding force of the universe is a Trinity?  And might a religious believer say, "No kidding."

The lost symbol and noetics..

“Her field of choice – Noetic Science – had been virtually unknown when she first heard of it, but in recent years, it had started opening new doors of understanding into the power of the human mind.” (The Lost Symbol, p. 15)

As all my friends know how much i admire Dan Brown,i consider him as an enlightened new age prohet.Brown's novel features the fictional, mystery-solving Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon and noetic scientist Dr. Katherine Solomon. The characters chase mysterious symbols during a 12-hour period in Washington, D.C., employing the noetic sciences to untangle the web of clues and resolve the conflict between good and evil. One million copies of The Lost Symbol sold in the first 24 hours of its release and the words “noetic sciences” crossed the lips of many readers for the first time. The book is an artful weaving together of fact and fiction, and Brown identifies the Institute of Noetic Sciences as one of the organizations in the novel that actually exist, making IONS’ website one of the most trusted sources for knowledge about noetic science and experienced phenomena that cannot be easily explained by traditional scientific models.

Kerala''s ritual dance Mudiyettu gets UNESCO recognition

UNESCO has recognised Mudiyeettu, an age-old ritual drama of Kerala, as an "intangible cultural heritage of humanity". It is believed that various forms of arts worshipping goddess Bhadrakaali prevailed much before the origin of temples. Once the worship of gods and goddesses started at the temples, various types of arts used to be performed to please goddess Bhadrakaali at Bhadrakaali temples. By and large, many of them were ruined while others continued to be performed systematically and in a more dramatic manner. "Mudiyettu" is one among them, a mixture of entertainment and devotion. The period of origin of Mudiyettu is un-traceable. This art is more of a ritual than dramatic. "Theeyaattu" is another ritual performed in Bhadrakaali temples. Mudiyettu is the story of the war of Bhadrakaali with the two notorious Asuras Daarikan and Daanavendran, eventually Killing them, while in Theeyaattu, Bhadrakaali reports to Lord Paramasiva after the assassination and briefs the whole incident. Mudiyettu, compared to other forms of temple arts, is presented without much of `mudras', facemasks and facial expressions, but with facial make-ups and `chutti' (artwork done on face with rice paste) which makes the characters simple and more acceptable to the viewers. Originally these characters used to perform with speech and dance, but later on rhythmic steps were introduced which gives more life to the characters and makes the performance more interesting.Mudiyettu is a ritual art where viewers also participate in the performance. Once the artists get separated, ie, since they `come to the light', the scene becomes more dramatic. It can be inferred that the character `Kooli' in Mudiyettu is the first of its kind to amuse the viewers by comic speech and action.
The sequence of Mudiyettu is as follows:
1. Kotti Ariyippu (Drum beat announcement)
2. Kalamezhuthu
3. Kalam Paatu
4. Chutti Kuthal (Make-up)
5. Vilakku Vaipu (Lighting of the stage lamp - `arangu vilakku')
6. Keli Kottu

challenge for cinematographers to
capture changes in season. Since the
film deals with transitions in a
person’s life, I tried to shoot it while
seasons were changing—capturing
the monsoons, mist and nature in its
changing form. For example, just as a
full moon affects the tide, a change in
the weather brings changes in
emotions in human beings.
“As the seasons change, the quality
of light changes, too,” says Sivan.
“Monsoon light has a nostalgic kind
of timeless quality. One doesn’t know
what time of the day it is, and the
light is soft and it portrays the face in
a tender way. This is in contrast with
the bright, hot sun, which is violent,
expressive and dramatic.

Deepak chopra- Insights

Insights into Sex and Spirituality

  1. Sexual energy is the primal and creative energy of the universe. All things that are alive come from sexual energy. In animals and other life forms, sexual energy expresses itself as biological creativity. In humans, sexual energy can be creative at all levels -- physical, emotional and spiritual. In any situation -- where we feel attraction, arousal, awakening, alertness, passion, interest, inspiration, excitement, creativity, enthusiasm -- in each of these situations, sexual energy is at work. Whenever we feel these states of awareness, we must put our attention on the energy that we are experiencing, nourishing it with our attention, experiencing it with joy and keeping it alive in our awareness.
  2. Sexual desire is sacred and chaste. The suppression of sexual energy is false, ugly and unchaste.
  3. During sexual union, there is union between flesh and spirit.
  4. Bliss, carefreeness and playfulness are the essence of sex.
  5. To improve your sexual experiences, get rid of your expectations.
Expectations are primarily in three areas: 1) Performance, exemplified in the question, "How am I doing?" 2) Feeling, exemplified in the question, "How am I feeling?" 3) Security, exemplified in the question, "Do you love me?"
  6. In sex, as in all areas of life, resistance is born of fear. All resistance is mental. It implies judgment against what is being felt. Sex becomes a problem when it gets mixed with hidden emotions such as shame, guilt and anger.
  7. Sexual intimacy is the road to the taste or experience of true freedom, because it is the one area of life in which we can become completely uninhibited and free.
  8. Sexual fulfillment occurs when the experience comes from playfulness instead of need. Frequently people bring their conflicts and needs into the sexual experience. When sex is used to fulfill needs, it leads to addiction. When sex comes from playfulness, the result is ecstasy.
  9. All problems related to sex, neurosis, deviancy, sexual misbehavior, violence, abuse, can be traced to resistance, suppression and repression -- not to the sexual urges themselves. If we are allowed to discover our urges, desires and emotions, without outside inhibition, they won't go to extremes. Extremism, in any form, is a reaction to repression, inhibition and suppression. Aggression and violence are the shadow energies of fear and impotence.
  10. Sex is a means of escaping our little self or ego. It is many peoples' only experience of meditation.
  11. Meaningful sex has to be value based. Values are personal. Each situation that has sexual energy in it, involves the whole human being and their entire value system. My values may be different from yours, and I have no right to be the moral judge of anyone's values. It is important, however, to have core values, and respect them. Without values, we become spiritually bankrupt. Sexual experience will never cause problems and will always be joyful, if lovers share the same values.
  12. True intimacy is union between flesh and flesh, between subtle body and subtle body, between soul and soul. Sexual energy is sacred energy. When we have restored the sexual experience to the realm of the sacred, our world will be chaste and divine, holy and healed.
